At the recently concluded LCEC meeting, the following decisions were carried:
Bible Reading Marathon
The LCEC has approved a request to host the bi-annual from August 28-31, 2017.
Policy on Donations to Missionaries
Donations to Missionaries already on the “Support List” will be channeled through the church. The funds will be disbursed in full by the church with no conditions / limitations attached (for e.g. disbursement over a period of time).
Donations to Missionaries not currently on the “Support List” should be channeled directly and not through the church.
Baptism
Baptisms will be held on Palm Sunday (Sunday before Easter) and on Christmas Sunday (Sunday before Christmas).

Ministry: Boys’ Brigade
Book Sale to raise funds for the BB will be held on BB Enrolment Sunday (April 19)
Ministry: Information Technology
Relocate TVs from The Solid Rock (TSR) and from Visual console to the new reception area (behind sanctuary). This is to cater to the needs of combined services.
For TSR usage, a projector will be mounted for use.
Ministry: Pastor
Kairos Course alumni gathering will be held on April 25. Venues: Sanctuary and TSR.
- For 3 weeks beginning March 29, all our services will be held at KDU College Penang. This would cover the holy week services leading to Easter and the Sunday after Easter.
- The decision was made following recommendation of the G5 task force to dismantle, redesign and rewire our half a century old sanctuary as a safety precaution.
- Only the main sanctuary will be affected. All other buildings within the church compound will operate as usual.
- There will be only 1 service for each of the Sundays beginning March 29 – April 12, at 10am.
- Methodist Girls’ School and KDU Penang underground parking zones are available on a first come first served basis.
- Please look out for our Ushers, Traffic Wardens and RELA Personnel
