A great reminder to young parents especially to a father like me who is away from home most of the time due to increased work assignments. Young fathers like me need to spend a lot more effort to have intentional teachable moments and family traditions to protect the children from the influence of the “Canaanites”. – Leong Teng Leong, father of 2 kids
We need to examine our priorities as parents as there is only a small window before our children reach 18. Quality time can only be carved out when we have quantity time. We can create teachable moments even when our children are grown ups – Lim Lai Keat, father of 2 grown up sons
The headline that was shared, “One divorce in Malaysia every 10 minutes” grabbed my attention. It speaks volumes about the deterioration in morals and marriage relationships. We urgently need to address this critical issue and the role of the church in building healthy Christian families. We should think seriously how the wider church family may extend help to those whose marriage relationship and family life is under the threat of breaking down. – Chu Kar Meng, father of 2 grown up daughters
